
Main purposes of the role are:
Local language consumer messaging content adaptation and creation, conversation management and customer service.
To carry out all community management and social media/PR tasks for the WotC Brands in the designated language region as part of the overall WotC Europe business plan and strategies to ensure play & sales targets are met or exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Localize, author, and coordinate the release of external messaging in Spanish language
- Coordinate local card previews and product reviews
- Execute social media content plan on multiple social media channels
- Monitor forums and other communications to identify common player issues and discussion patterns
- Moderate content on all social platforms, forums, outside game communities, etc
- Communicate directly with players, building strong relationships and maintaining a visible external presence
- Answer customer questions via forums, social media and fan communities.
- Develop and manage a network of talkers/influencers
- Execute community-facing initiatives including contests, fan site programs, volunteer programs, judge communication, convention presence, translation crowd-sourcing, etc.
- Management of local Social Media/PR agencies and social media activity in designated language region
- Monitor the local A&P budget and provide regular updates on A&P expenditure
The essential profile of the candidate will be:
- 1-2 years community management or social media experience
- Experience in a community or a player-facing role
- Experience in briefing and managing agencies
- Spanish mother tongue, fluent in written & spoken English
- Fluent with MS Office
- A solid understanding and passion for new media, social networking, and the latest community tools and techniques
- Knowledge of blogging ecosystem relevant to the gaming industry
- Strong communication skills adapted to all audiences
- Know, play and love Magic: The Gathering
- Well spoken and with a quick and easy pen
